Meet our member farms

As a new co-op, our member farms currently include the four founding farms behind the creation of the co-operative. After we work through our first full season together, we'd love to invite other farms to join us. If you're interested in knowing more, please sign up to our newsletter or send us an email and we'll keep you posted on news relating to co-op membership.

olde furrow farm

Olde Furrow Farm is run by a husband and wife duo: Adam & Courtney. We grow unsprayed veggies, focusing on unusual and flavorful varieties. This will be our 6th year growing in the Annapolis Valley on our family’s land.

Seven Acres Farm

Seven Acres Farm is run by Jocelyn and Chris. We grow mixed vegetables, cut flowers, and make fermented products including sauerkrauts, kimchis, and beverages. Our growing practices are influenced by our desire to be environmental stewards, and our landscaping and gardening decisions are guided by permaculture principles and design theory. 2017 is our third season of farming in Nova Scotia.

rerooted farm

We are Sarah and Joey Pittoello, who along with our 2 kids Mia and Lewyn, run Rerooted Farm. We focus primarily on hot-season crops, including tomatoes, cucumbers and melons, and work closely with the Just Us! Centre for Small Farms. We have been farming in the valley and vendors at the Wolfville Farmers market since 2009 when we began working with Stewart's Organic Farm. We are deeply committed to organics.

Located in Hortonville, NS.

Moontide farm

Moon Tide Farm was established in 2009 by Joel and Ann Huntley in rural, coastal Nova Scotia and has grown to include Grace & Connor, their two small children. We offer a variety of vegetables, canned and fermented foods, free range chickens, pastured GMO-free eggs and GMO-free pastured pork. We utilize biodynamic and organic growing principles, harness our draft horse Queenie, and enjoy our heritage sheep and home-use dairy goats. We relish the diversity (and chaos) on our farm and our active life down the road from Cape Split on the Bay of Fundy.

Located in Scots Bay, Nova Scotia
